What can you tell me about yourselves? Who is MK Ultrasonics?
We are a small business primarily comprised of owner Kevin Hutchins and his wife, Elly Hutchins. Kevin is a USAF veteran and Department of Defense analyst. He understands the meaning of service to others. Elly understands the operating dynamics and effectiveness of ultrasonic equipment and has served the public as a state-registered dental assistant; there, she learned the effectiveness of ultrasonics, where it is regularly used to clean instruments. Elly is certified in ultrasonic blind cleaning technology. She is bilingual and is an asset to the Hispanic community.
Do you have a referral program?
We do! Those who are enrolled in our referral program have their blind cleaning services automatically discounted by twenty percent. For each friend or family member who is referred to us and uses our services, those in the program are entitled to a ten-percent discount on their next cleaning—i.e., ten referrals add up to a cleaning free of charge to those in the program. Or, you can use any combination you like (for example, five referrals equals fifty percent off).
What's the vision for MK Ultrasonics? Where did it come from?
We eliminate frustration and deliver happiness, as we eradicate the chore of blinds cleaning. We're homeowners, too, and we understand the exasperation that comes with trying to clean a window treatment that won't come clean. We’ve found the answer in ultrasonics and we’re excited to share it with you!
Our blind vision was born out of who we are (please see "What can you tell me about yourselves?"). Together, we have over fifty years of personal service to others, in our professional capacities. We look at our ability to provide this unique service as another means to serve the community.
The idea of service to others is rooted in our Christian faith, which tells us that Jesus came to earth as a servant and has invited us to walk in that same joy.
What kinds of blinds do you clean?
We clean every type of blind on the market. This includes vertical blinds, mini-blinds, micro-blinds, duettes, pleated shades, honeycombs, silhouettes, vignettes, faux wood, real wood, and laminated blinds. We do not clean drapes and roller shades.

Are you insured, in case my property is somehow damaged?
Yes. We are insured for up to $300,000, through The Hartford. Our certificate to this effect is posted in our business office.
